For anyone who want to share what they did Christmas (Eve and/or Day), as well as if they obtained anything nice.
I'll be posting very late on Christmas Eve, maybe in the twilight hours of Christmas Day. I have a family who does their celebrations on Christmas Eve as opposed to Christmas Day.

The family gatherings on my mother and father (both, rest in peace)'s side were a little shorter than they had been, my mother's side lasting only about one hour. I mean, literally, they came over, ate, opened presents while making small talk, and then left.
On my father's side, which occured the same time as my mother's, they had eaten when we arrived. They talked for about an hour, opened presents and played Dirty Santa, talked for about another hour, then people began to leave. I don't know why, but this was probably the shortest gathering on that side of the family, too.
I believe it has to do with it being a Sunday, as, to me, Sunday is just an off day. It doesn't matter what it is, it just doesn't come off right, and so I chalk up a victory to Sunday for making Christmas celebrations incredibly short. However, despite that I am about the same in feeling that I was last year (though it was hard dealing with all that was stolen, as well as the loss of my DeLorean).
To list some gift highlights:
- Zune (Microsoft's bid to rival Apple's iPod) - The Muppet Show DVD, Season One - Voltron DVD, Episodes 16-30 - The Boondocks t-shirts (3 in total)
But, the ultimate gift is said to come, as I received nothing at my father's side of the family. I just know it is big, about 30 people pitched in, so I'm really, really, really eager and curious to see what this is. I know they know about the vandalism event, so my assumption is they're going to pitch in and make me feel better about that, quite possibly have worked together to buy back everything I lost. Of course, it could be something entirely different, but I'm counting the seconds as they go by... I cannot wait to go to my uncle's house tomorrow to see what it is.
Overall, this Christmas was about the same as last year. I'm content, so I will give it a 7/10. I have everything I could want or need, so that figures into it. I look forward to next year, as well as everyone else's response to this thread.
Finally, Merry Christmas to everyone!

Chirstmas Eve, wasn't bad at all, though I grew boring after my family left for the party, since, this year, a friend of my mother was the host. They tend to change places, and have different hosts for Christmas Eve's party, every year, kind of a cool thing, since well, parties, who doesn't like them? I do. Drinks all around.
I was given the choice to go to this said party, but, I didn't go, instead, I stood home, drinking a bottle of rum all to myself, since that's all I managed to get. I was so tempted to open my gifts, last night, since well, I was bored, but didn't, instead - I decided to play games, and waited for my family to come. Though they came a bit late, about, 5 in the morning, I was asleep. Rum, was delicious, and I passed out. I couldn't wait for them, so I fell asleep.
Now, here's what I got when I woke up, and yes, did open my presents:
- Money, I don't know how much, since I haven't counted it. - Pirates of the Caribbean, movies. - PS2 game; Ultimate Alliance. - RBD new cd; Rebels.
That's pretty much it, since well, the money, I found in some of the cards, next to my gifts. Money, I do need to count that, and well, go make some Christmas shopping, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, or maybe, Circuit City. Oh, wait - Toys 'R Us.
Well, all in all - tis was fun.
Merry Christmas to all of you, and as Mike said, looking forward to it next year, yes, because well - drinks, and the good joy of it.

Uhm, well, we didn't do anything special for Christmas besides visit some relatives of my mother's boyfriend. I'm pretty shy around people I haven't had time to know better, so I was stuck in this gigantic silent gap between all the conversations. It was fun, to the extent where some of the stories made me laugh, but I was still bored out of my mind sitting at the dinner table for hours.
I got one of the things I wanted for Christmas, so I guess I can't complain:
-GeForce MX 4000 video card. -Giftcards. -$20 in actual spending money. -Lots of girly products.
Mmm, I 'spose I'll be doing lots of after Christmas shoppin' sometime in the future.

No PlayStation 2, eh, Jackie? T'sk.
Update on that gift about 30 members of the family got me:
- DeLorean automobile - $20,000 check to finish my last semester of College
All in all, I am VERY happy at the moment. I got my beloved car back, and another shot at finish my College education.

Let's see...
The spouse got me a new laptop, and I reciprocated with a PS3, which is to say that I got a PS3 since I'm more likely to use it than they are! Although, I did get that Call To Duty 3 along with it, because the mate does like them shoot 'em up WWII games. I've actually been sittin' here watchin' Germans get shot for the last few days. *laughs*
I was also given a new P-51D model-- a big one, 1:18th scale. It's real damn nice, I'll be gettin' that one put together shortly.
As for what we did, we just stayed at home to ourselves for the most part. Brother and sister in law came over on Saturday for just a while since they were travellin' through. Pretty much, just our typical lazy Christmas/Birthday deal here at the house.

Christmas was a bit better than last year, but still sucked. I got a sweater and ten dollars. Last year I got a sweater and a bottle of lotion. So yep. Immediate-family time sucked. Distant-family time sucked. They just talked about "adult" things and left me in the living room with a retarded 10-year old who's spoiled to the point of where you wanna beat his head in, and two brothers, 10 and 8, who just fought and kicked me. OH, I got a memory card as well. So that was somewhat nice, I guess. =|
