I'm just curious to see who all here has seen the series and what they think. Personally Malcolm Reynolds is my hero.

Wash is my hero. I loved that damn show with a passion and when it just suddenly vanished off the air, I wasn't none too happy. I was thrilled with the movie, but when I saw it...
Well, I don't want to spoil anythin' for anyone who ain't yet seen it but I will reitterate... Wash is my hero and... and... I have an autographed picture of him hanging up behind the bar in my livin' room...
I'm sorry, I'm a little emotional now... talk amongst yourselves...

Wash spoiler:DIDN'T NEED TO DIE. YOU BASTARDS WHO KILLED HIM NEED TO BURN IN THE DEPTHS OF HELL! GOD! WASH WAS A GOOD MAN!.
Jayne Cobb: Anybody remember her comin' at me with a butcher's knife? Hoban 'Wash' Washburne: Wacky fun. Jayne Cobb: You wanna go, little man? Hoban 'Wash' Washburne: Only if it's someplace with candlelight.
I <3 Wash.

Okay... these tears are ONLY on my cheeks because I was just cuttin' up onions in the kitchen... really...
But I liked the show. The whole loose, cavalier western theme over it really appealed to me. I know, go figure, right? It was, often, hilarious, too.

I really enjoyed it and was quite upset that it got cut. It's really too good a show to have cut it before it even finished season 1. I love Malcolm Reynolds, he's the best captain ever.

...excuse me? No. *laughs*
Yeah, he's pretty great, but I still liked Wash the best.

Hoban 'Wash' Washburne: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe Washburne: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Hoban 'Wash' Washburne: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.
